For years, I toyed with the idea of becoming vegetarian. I did not particularly enjoy thinking about what I was eating, and I certainly did not like to deal with cooking meat. However, I ate it anyway. Each time I would seriously contemplate Broadband Modem Router the final switch to becoming vegetarian, I would think about all of my favorite meat dishes I would be giving up: meat lasagna, fish tacos, a good steak, and turkey at Thanksgiving. It was these few meals a year that stopped me from making the final switch.
Then one day, two thoughts made it very easy to permanently become vegetarian.
- I really thought about the meat industry. It is not a kind one. The pain and fear that permeates the animals lives, permeates the meat. I decided I did not want to eat pain and fear. I did not want to contribute to that. I wanted to stop ignoring what I was putting into my mouth and actually feel good about what I was eating and what my food money was contributing to.
- I changed my focus. I had been focused on all of the food I would not be able to eat instead of focusing on what I would be able to eat. I chose to let the thoughts of deprivation go. On each login tmnet I would focus on the deliciousness I would be able to enjoy. That change made me feel that I could completely give up meat because there was still a world of food that I would be able to eat. This mindset also opened the door to culinary creativity. There are variety of meat substitutes and vegetarian recipes that replicate many meat-based dishes.
Becoming vegetarian just takes a shift in thought. Once you do that, making the final switch is simple.
